We tour Tsavo West National Park and you are sure of a memorable stay in your luxury accommodation. The Lodge is a tranquil, hushed, and cool refuge framed by Mount Kilimanjaro and the rolling, volcanic landscapes of the deep green Chyulu Hills. The park immerses you in stunning beauty and exhilarating adventures while surrounding you with every modern comfort. Arriving guests are enchanted by our classic stone design and views of elephants, buffalo, and other plains game drinking and cooling off in our water hole. Visit the Shetani Lava flow while on the evening drive. The highlight is the bush breakfast at lion rock on your last day.
Tsavo West National Park is located in the Coast Province of Kenya. The park covers an area of 9,065 square kilometers. The A109 road Nairobi-Mombasa and a railway divides it from the adjoining Tsavo East National Park. Together with adjoining ranches and protected areas, they comprise the Tsavo Conservation Area.
Itinerary
Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo West: Early morning, pick up at your Mombasa Hotel and depart for the Tsavo West National Park. On arrival at the park, enjoy an en route Game viewing drive to your lodge, check-in and have lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. Later at sunset, set out for an evening game viewing drive searching for the Big 5 among other animals. Visit the Shetani Lava flow while on the drive. Get back to your lodge for dinner & an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo West – Mombasa: After an early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge. Have a morning game viewing drive searching for wildlife species not previously seen and visit the Mzima Springs. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you head out of the park. Drive to Mombasa and upon arrival, drop-off at your Coastal residence or Airport. Mombasa packages/ Excursions are available on request.
