Discover the Richness of Ujung Kulon National Park

Ujung Kulon National Park, located in Banten Province on the extreme south-west tip of the highly populated island of Java, boasts the best and most extensive lowland forest remaining on the island. It is situated about 300 km from the capital city of Jakarta and 140 km from Serang, stretching across the Ujung Kulon Peninsula, Peucang, Handeuleum Islands and surrounding mountains. This sanctuary is home to the Javan Rhinos, the largest animals in Java and the second largest in Indonesia after the Asian elephants. The park is also a refuge for a rich variety of wildlife and offers exciting adventures, from jungle treks and canoeing to birdwatching, swimming, snorkeling, and beach sunset cruises.

Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Jakarta - Pandeglang - Ujung Kulon (Peucang Island)
Your journey starts early morning as our representative picks you up and escort you towards Ujung Kulon. After breakfast at a local restaurant in Carita, you'll cruise to Badul Island for an exciting snorkeling session among vibrant coral reefs. The cruise continues to Handeuleum Island, where you'll stay overnight. In the afternoon, experience a canoe trip down Cigenter River to explore deep rainforests home to pythons, hornbills, crocodiles, and, if lucky, a glimpse of the elusive Rhino, before snorkeling around Peucang Island.

Day 2: Exploration of Peucang Island
After breakfast, embark on a jungle trek to Ciramea, known for its sandy coastline and as a nesting site for turtles. Visit Tanjung Layar, a historical site, and return to Peucang Island for lunch. In the evening, cruise to Cidaon grazing grounds to observe wildlife such as banteng, pigs, monkeys, peafowl, and possibly the Java Rhinoceros. The day ends with a sunset view from the jetty, complemented by coffee and snacks. Overnight stay at Villa Batik.

Day 3: Peucang Island to Jakarta
The day starts with a walk to Karang Copong to enjoy the towering forest and reef pools. Following this, cruise to Citerjun to witness the stunning calcified terraces and stalactites. The tour concludes with a return cruise to Muara Baru and a drive back to Jakarta.
