Itinerary

Discover the End of the World: A Complete Adventure Package

If you wish not to skip any of the major highlights of this amazing place, this is the package for you! The end of the world has never been so close. Reach out and get immersed in its natural beauties. Adventure and peaceful site all at the same place.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Pick up & Beagle Channel Navigation
We will pick you up upon arrival at Ushuaia International Airport and take you to your hotel. Once you are settled, we will meet you at the port where our navigation will depart. After checking in, the passengers go on board. We get ready to begin the navigation and enjoy the wonders the Beagle Channel shows us. A tour guide accompanies us along the tour to share their knowledge about our surroundings. Sea and coast birds join us along the journey and we make a first stop at the Bird Island to best appreciate them. Sightseeing, in another island, the South American fur and sea lions show us their interesting behavior and habitat. We stop at several occasions to exclusively appreciate the mentioned wildlife and the historic Les Éclaireurs lighthouse. The landscape persists in its effort to dazzles us in each corner. After the navigation, we will leave you at the port and you will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy this beautiful city.

Day 2: Escondido and Fagnano in 4x4 Adventure
The tour begins picking up the passengers early in the morning. Once on the vehicles, we take the national route N°3 heading north to go through the mountain range. We leave behind the Beagle Channel to find the Carbajal Valley, a marvelous glacial valley that reveals forest, peat bog, mountains and permanent snow. We keep on going on the route until they reach 450 meters above sea level and cross the Andes. From the viewpoint Paso Garibaldi they enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Escondido and Fagnano lakes. After that we head to the Bronsovich sawmill and, from there, we take the provincial route 119, for about 10 km to find our Off Road circuit. It is an old loggers path that leads us to Fagnano lake. We go through an ancient lenga forest and some other obstacles that test our 4x4 vehicles. Included in this tour, we drive to an incredible place nearby the lake to savor a tasty lunch and immerse ourselves in the magic of the place.

Day 3: Puerto Almanza & Rowing Excursion
We will pick you up after breakfast from your hotel. The road takes us to Tierra Mayor Valley where we can see Bonete and Alvear mounts and cirque glaciers. We take route J, driving south between the woods we arrive to Puerto Almanza, a small town inhabited mostly by fishermen. We are situated by the Beagle Channel and in front of the Chilean town Puerto Williams. In front of us, displays stunning and matchless scenery. We go to the coast of the channel to board on our canoes and begin rowing for about 60 minutes on this natural passage between two oceans, one of the only three that connects the Pacific and the Atlantic. Before starting the activity, we provide with an informative talk about safety. After rowing, we go to an incredible place to enjoy a delicious meal and immerse ourselves in the magic of the place. We will have a well-deserved lunch and have some time before we say goodbye to this marvelous landscape and head back to Ushuaia city.

Day 4: Esmeralda Lagoon Trekking Excursion
We leave from the hotel to drive north through the National Route N°3 until we reach the beginning of the trail. The first part of the hike is through the lenga wood that guides us into the valley, where we can appreciate the Carbajal Valley and the Tierra Mayor Valley. The path takes us along the valley through the peatbogs while surrounded by mountains. We can take a closer look at the flora and wildlife native from Tierra del Fuego, such as the great variety of birds that can be spotted around the place. We start trekking up the mountain until we reach Esmeralda lagoon, its name (emerald) describes the wonder of its waters. The Ojo del Albino glacier and the Toribio mountain range frame the lagoon creating a unique landscape. The lagoon becomes the ideal scenery to enjoy a delicious snack with a hot drink that warms us up. After the break we start the trek back to the departure point, where we get on the vehicle that takes us back to the hotel.

Day 5: Tierra del Fuego National Park Excursion with lunch & Transfer Out
We drive to the End of the World main train station where, The ride takes about one hour with a 15-minute stop at the Macarena Waterfall station, which was a must disembark point for the convicts to gather water for the steam locomotives (optional). We reach the Zarategui Bay, where the southernmost post office is located and a landscape that outstands with its sea, islands and woods. Our tour continues with hikes visiting the magical spaces and corners of the park that the nature gifts us with its rivers, lakes, lagoons, mountains, woods, bushes like Michay and the famous Calafate. The wildlife with the charming Andean fox and the great variety of birds: from the woodpecker to the black-neck swan and the sheldgoose. We will drop you off at your hotel and later (according to your flight schedule) we will pick you up and take you to Ushuaia International Airport, to catch your flight. End of services.
