Itinerary Overview
- Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut - Your adventure begins with an informative briefing, followed by a scenic drive to Marangu Gate. Trek through lush rainforests to Mandara Hut, where you'll find comfort in special huts, preparing you for the days ahead.
- Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut - Ascend towards Horombo Hut, with en route views of Kibo and Mawenzi volcanoes. Post-lunch, engage in an acclimatization hike towards Kibo Hut, then return to Horombo Hut for dinner.
- Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut - Trek to Kibo Hut at a steady pace to maintain strength. Upon reaching, rest and hydrate in preparation for the following day's summit attempt.
- Day 4: Uhuru Peak & Descent to Horombo Hut - Begin the night trek to Uhuru Peak for a surreal sunrise at the summit. Post-celebration, descend to Horombo Hut, retracing the magnificence of Kilimanjaro's landscape.
- Day 5: Descent from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate - Arusha - Following a warm breakfast, descend to Marangu Gate. Here, share your journey in the guestbook, receive commemorative certificates, and enjoy a transfer back to your Arusha residence.
