Explore the Wonders of Kenya: A 6-Day Safari Adventure

Enjoy the big 5 game viewing at Maasai Mara, walk at Hells Gate National Park, Maasai cultural visit.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu

Begin the tour by driving through the highlands and past Mt Kenya and arrive Samburu National Reserve where you will enjoy amazing game drives and searching for the Big 5 animals and Special 5 game. Today head out for an evening game drive and dinner and overnight at the hotel. Accommodation at either Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, Ashnil Camp Samburu, or Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Samburu Game Drives

Head out for an early morning game drive and evening drives where you search for the wildlife. Find the Special Five species categorized as vulnerable and are African Darter, Great Egret, White-headed Vulture, Martial Eagle and the Yellow-billed Ox-pecker. Also view the large elephants near the Ewaso Nyiro River. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Stay at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, Ashnil Camp Samburu, or Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Samburu - Lake Naivasha

Early morning we depart Samburu and head towards the Rift valley arriving Lake Naivasha for Lunch. Check in and relax before heading out for a boat ride, bird watching and Walking Safari of Crescent Island. Head back to your Lodge for dinner and overnight. Option for accommodation at Lake Naivasha Country Club, Naivasha Sopa Lodge, or Naivasha Simba Lodge.

Day 4: Naivasha - Maasai Mara

Early morning depart Naivasha at 6:30 after breakfast and drive through the Rift Valley escarpments onto the Maasai Mara Plains. Enjoy an Enroute game drive as you drive to your luxury tented camp. Spend the afternoon relaxing before an evening game viewing drive searching for the Big 5 among other animals. End your day with dinner and overnight entertainment at the camp. Choose from Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, Fig Tree Mara Camp, or Keekorok Lodge.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Drive

Experience a full day game viewing drive after morning breakfast. Enjoy lunch at the banks of the Mara River and possibly see the great Wildebeest Migration (July to September). End your day by enjoying a Cultural Visit at the Maasai Manyattas. Evening dinner and overnight at your hotel. Accommodations include Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, Fig Tree Mara Camp, or Keekorok Lodge.

Day 6: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Depart Maasai Mara with a stopover for a cultural tour at the Maasai Village. Drive back to Nairobi and drop off at your residence or at the airport for your flight back home.
