Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Beginning of the Tour Start with a hotel pickup at 8am in Manaus, transitioning to a speed boat journey from the Ceasa Port through the Rio Negro to the floating village of Catalão. Explore a fish farm hosting the gigantic Arapaima Gigas before proceeding to the meeting of the waters where the Rio Negro and the Solimões River converge. Arrive at the lodge by 11:30am, with lunch followed by dolphin and bird watching, sunset admiration, dinner, then a nocturnal cayman spotting adventure.
Day 2: Jungle Trip An early canoe trip at 5:30am lets you witness the rainforest awakening. Post breakfast, embark on a jungle trek to learn about local flora, fauna, and possibly spot monkeys. After lunch, enjoy piranha fishing and a night safari tour for a closer look at nocturnal wildlife. Accommodations offer private suites with modern comforts.
