Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Arrival at the International Airport Juan Santamaria. You will be met by one of our representatives who will explain your itinerary, answer any questions, and provide you with a packet of vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to Hotel Park Inn and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight at Park Inn Hotel, in San José.
Day 2: San Jose City Tour
Explore the Capital City, San Jose, with a professional guide on this unique Bus & Walking tour. Learn about our culture, architecture, customs, and traditions. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, then continue our tour visiting other important areas of the capital city. Overnight at Park Inn Hotel, in San José.
Day 3: Cartago Highlights Tour
Visit Irazú Volcano National Park, enjoy the beauty of the Orosi Valley and Town, Ujarras Ruins, and Cachi Lake and its Hydroelectric Dam. Lunch included at a local restaurant before descending to the historical City of Cartago. Visit the old Parish ruins and view the beautiful Basilica of our "Virgen de los Angeles". Return to the hotel by 5:00 PM. Overnight at Park Inn Hotel, in San José.
Day 4: Private Tour to Sarchi & Grecia
Visit Sarchi, known for its finely colored and decorated bullock carts. Explore furniture stores and souvenir shops offering beautifully decorated bowls, trays, wooden utensils, jewelry, and masks. Take a picture with the largest ox cart in the world. Enjoy a typical lunch and visit the city of Grecia, known for its beautiful church built entirely in metal. Overnight at Park Inn Hotel, in San José.
Day 5: Private Britt Coffee Tour
Experience the original coffee tour of Costa Rica at our farm located in Barva de Heredia. Learn about the life cycle of gourmet coffee from selection to roasting. Enjoy coffee tasting techniques to identify gourmet coffee. After lunch, return to the hotel. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at Park Inn Hotel, in San José.
Day 6: Airport Transfer
