If you want to discover the great Islamic heritage and treasures of Cairo, join us on this tour. With a professional guide, you will discover the beautiful mosques, and madrasas (schools) mansions not frequently visited nor included in classic tours. The tour includes the visit to Sultan Hassan mosque and madrasa, the mosque of Ibn Tulun, the citys old walls and gates, and a walking tour in El Moez street. Climb up one of the tower of the mosque and enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Built between 1356 and 1363 by the Mamluk ruler Sultan Hassan, the Madrassa-Mosque of Sultan Hassan is located at the Citadel Square, which is considered the pyramid of Islamic structures. This fascinating place was used as a school, mosque, and mausoleum. Your Egyptologist will provide you with an introduction to the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles. The mosque is an excellent example of the gigantic structures of the Mamluke era.

Day 1: A short drive will take you to the 1150-year-old mosque of Ibn Tulun.it is the oldest and best-preserved mosque in Egypt. it has a unique spiral tower which has equal to the city of Samara in Iraq. The mosque has a tower that you can climb and enjoy a nice view over the city

Day 1: the last stop will be at the remaining walls and gates of Cairo built in the 10th century by the Fatimid. Walking inside the old city, you will realize that you are in an open-air museum of Islamic structures mixed with the friendliness and welcoming of the local people.

The tour will enrich your knowledge about the Islamic, religion, architecture, ornaments, and how the city developed over the years.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at the hotel
