Have an amazing experience with our Egyptologist to explore the necropolis of Sakkara with its oldest pyramid of king Zoser 4800 years old, and enjoy the colored reliefs that still survive after many millennia. Then drive to Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt with its unique statues and monuments

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Memphis is the oldest capital of Egypt after the unity in 3100 B.C. You will visit the open-air museum in the city. In Memphis, you will see the second-largest Sphinx in Egypt, the lying colossus of Ramses II, and many more monuments dug in this great city.
  • Day 1: Visit Sakkara, the necropolis of the old kingdom where the oldest pyramid of king Zoser is known as the step pyramid was built in 2800 BC. Enter the complex and explore the oldest columns in Egypt. Enjoy the colored wall paintings that date thousands of years ago by entering one of the tombs of the nobles. The tomb of a noble is called a Mastaba and the walls of this type of tomb were covered with colored scenes that reflect the daily life activities in ancient Egypt. Bend down to enter the pyramid of king Titi to see the oldest holy texts on the pyramid walls. (included) On top of a little mount in Sakkara, you can have a panoramic view of 12 pyramids around.
