Certain health restrictions apply, and waivers are required. In the unlikely event of not sighting whales or dolphins, a complimentary ticket for a future tour is provided instead of a refund. Departures are from the Old Harbour, and it's essential to arrive 30 minutes early, as pickup is not available. Embarking from Reykjavík’s old harbour, the tour begins with a visit to the puffins in their natural island habitats within the bay. Then, we venture further in search of whales. There’s nothing quite like witnessing these incredible creatures from the up-close perspective our RIB boats offer. Following the whale watching adventure, we return to Reykjavík, cruising along the city’s shoreline with a scenic view from the sea. The journey includes a stop at the harbour side of the iconic Harpa Concert Hall, adding a cultural highlight to the natural spectacle.
Please note, this tour requires a minimum of two participants to run. Should this minimum not be met, we offer the option to reschedule or provide a full refund. The tour may not be suitable for seniors (aged 65+), pregnant women, or individuals with a history of heart or back problems. Participants must be able to stand in their seat, meet the height requirement of at least 145 cm, and fit into one of our overalls (up to size 3XL). A waiver must be signed upon arrival to join the tour. Please make your way to the Old Harbour at least 30 minutes before departure, as pickup service is not available. In the rare event that no whales or dolphins are sighted, we do not issue refunds but instead offer a complimentary ticket for our Classic Whale Watching tour, valid for 2 years and non-transferable.

Our custom made RIB boats allow you to get closer the whales and puffins than any boats can offer. These fast, stable and safe boats also allow us to cover more area as we search for the wild life, thus increasing your chances of spotting whales, dolphins and birdlife.
This great whale watching tour starts from the old harbour of Reykjavík and we first visit the puffins in their natural habitat on the islands in the bay. Next we head out in search of the whales. Few things will beat the experience of seeing the whales and dolphins as up close as you can from our RIB boats. After our whale safari we travel back to Reykjavík, where we will take ride along the cities shore line, viewing it from the sea. Including a stop at the harbour side of Iceland's most famous building, the glittering Harpa Concert Hall.

- Whale Guarantee! If we are unlucky and can't seem to find whales or dolphins on the RIB tour you can try again for free on the Classic Whale Watching on the larger boats either in Reykjavík or in Akureyri.
- We supply warm overalls, gloves, goggles and all necessary safety equipment.
