If you are currently in Tashkent and you do not have enough time to explore Samarkand, this one day tour helps you to explore the worlds cultural and historical heritage and gives you the best travel experience. Depart from your hotel in Tashkent and catch a high-speed train to Samarkand. In the company of your guide and driver, set out to see the city. Visit Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, and Ulugbek Observatory. At the end of the day, return to Tashkent on the train.

Day 1. Gur Emir Mausoleum:

  • A masterpiece of Islamic architecture of medieval East

Day 1. Registan Square:

  • The Registan was the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of the Timurid dynasty

Day 1. Sher Dor Madrasah:

  • Sher-Dor Madrasah was built on Samarkand in 1619-1636

Day 1. Ulugbek Madrasah:

  • Ulugbek Madrasah was built by Ulugbek, Tamerlanes grandson, in 1417-1420

Day 1. Tillya Kori Madrasah:

  • It was built in 1660, and it is the final building in the Registan architectural Ensemble

  • In the 15th century, it was one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in the Islamic world

  • Shakhi Zinda is the complex of mausoleums of 14-15th centuries

  • Tour starts at 7-8am with pickup from hotels in Tashkent and transfer to Tashkent Railway Station for departure to Samarkand by high-speed train. Meet your driver and guide in Samarkand Railway Station. Tour ends around 5-7 pm with transfer back to Samarkand railway station for departure to Tashkent by high-speed train. Pickup from Tashkent Railway Station and transfer to hotel is also included.
  • On rare occasions when the high-speed train is unavailable, we will replace this with the most-comfortable class of regular train.
