We recommend waterproof hiking shoes for the best experience, and dressing appropriately for the weather ensures enjoyment in any conditions.

THE TOUR

Expect approximately 1.5 - 2 hours of exhilarating experience, detailed as follows:

  1. Our journey commences at Zipline Akureyri headquarters, where you'll be equipped with safety gear.
  2. A brief walk leads us to the starting point. Here, guides meticulously manage your seamless launch and reception on each zipline.
  3. As we navigate between the ziplines via charming forest paths, our guides share intriguing anecdotes, blending history and folklore.
  4. Concluding the final zipline, a short hike brings us back to our starting point.
  5. Post-adventure, the headquarters offer a space for relaxation, where you can exchange stories and photos with fellow adventurers or enjoy a snack if you've brought one along.

  • Wear good shoes, optimally waterproof trail shoes with a good grip.
  • Dress according to the weather on the day.
  • We ask you to braid long hair or tie it in a low bun.
