Itinerary
- Meet on Location
Arrive at the meeting point at Silfra 15 minutes before the start time. Start time can be selected when booking the tour. - Briefing and Gear-Up:
Upon arrival at the Silfra Meeting Point, your guide will offer a comprehensive briefing about the dive site and help you set up your dive equipment, including high-quality SCUBA gear, ensuring all divers meet necessary certification requirements. - Dive Experience:
The tour features one dive lasting approximately 30-40 minutes, reaching a maximum depth of 18 meters. You'll explore Silfra's four main sections, each showcasing unique underwater scenery such as narrow passages, a hall, a cathedral, and a lagoon. - Post-Dive Activities:
Following the dive, you'll return along a 250-meter path with your dive gear. Then, enjoy warming up with hot chocolate and cookies while conversing with your guide.

Important Notes
- Participants must be certified divers at the level of PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- All divers must have dry suit diving certification OR provide written proof from a diving instructor of 10 logged dry suit dives within two years of the tour date.
- Participants must read, sign, and follow directions on the online Diving Silfra Medical Statement provided in the confirmation email.
- Please contact us before booking if you are older than 60 years old.
- Participants must sign a liability release form at the start of the Silfra dive tour.
- Participants must be between 150cm and 200cm in height and weigh between 45kg and 120kg.
- Participants must be at least 17 years of age, and a signature of a legal guardian is required for under 18-year-old participants.
- Participants must be physically fit and able to communicate in English.
- Participants must be prepared to wear a sometimes tight and constricting dry suit.
- Pregnant individuals are not allowed to participate in the tour.
